Add a Logo to Your QR Code Without Breaking It

A logo in the middle of a QR code looks professional — but only if you keep the code readable. The trick is error correction and restraint.

Raise error correction

Use a higher error-correction level so the code still works with the centre covered. This adds redundancy the logo can sit on top of.

Keep the logo small

Cover no more than the central fifth of the code, and leave a little padding around the logo so it does not touch the data.

Always test

Scan with several phones after adding the logo. If any struggle, shrink the logo or raise error correction further.
