Which barcode format should I choose?
Retail tills expect EAN-13 or UPC-A. Logistics labels usually use Code 128 or ITF-14. For tiny parts or large payloads, use Data Matrix or PDF417.
Will these codes scan on real hardware?
They are generated to the published specification for each symbology. Print at full size with good contrast and clear quiet zones, then test with your own scanner before a production run.
