Is the image uploaded anywhere?
No. Decoding runs in your browser and the picture never leaves your device.
Why should I preview the link first?
Printed codes can be tampered with by sticking a new one over the original. Seeing the destination before you open it is the simplest defence against that.
The camera will not start. What is wrong?
Camera access needs a secure HTTPS connection and browser permission. Check the permission prompt, and use the image upload option as a fallback.
